Our Judges and Justices

The Judges and Justices of the Rincon Band's Civil Trial Court and Court of Appeals have previously served as judges or federal magistrates in one or more of the following courts: Federal Court of Appeals, Federal District Court, California State Supreme Court, California State Court of Appeals, or California Superior Court, and have knowledge and experience with federal Indian law, or are law professors nationally recognized as federal Indian law experts.

Administration

The Rincon Civil Trial Court and the Rincon Court of Appeals are administered by the Judicial Administration Committee, whose members are distinguished by their extensive knowledge and experience with federal and state law, and legal issues affecting Indian Country. The members of the Judicial Administration Committee are: Barbara Karshmer, Esq. (Committee Chair), Brenda L. Tomaras, Esq., Brendan Ludwick, Esq., and David B. Dehnert, Esq.
